Being wise is not in the declaration of possessing wisdom; it is in letting Wisdom be wise in you. Wisdom comes from God and being wise is those in whom He chooses to bestow His Wisdom.

If someone is good – helping me out, not disturbing my peace, not making me uncomfortable – then do they get my Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval.

There is a big difference between a disciple and a believer. A man with selfish ambition is not a man in Rest, and a disciple knows this life is for the Son not the self.

Being perfectly reconciled to God is my new normal, yet I still have to fight to believe it as such. That's where the ministry of reconciliation comes in.
