When the Word of God declares a paradox (two things that appear to contradict), what do I do? Following authorities blindly or in faith?

We have cast off the restraints of God, now we're unable to submit to the human authorities. Authority can be a huge finger poke from God’s sovereign reign.
My individual vote is more about aligning my will in agreement with God’s Will, than electing the politicians I want. My vote is agreement with His reign in my world.
Aligning with God’s Will sets me up to receive His abundant Life. While God is completely sovereign, we are given the privilege of participation.
Failure to exercise our influence in the world is rebellion making us contemptible. To not be in my God given place of authority is defeat and devastation.
How am I to maneuver the minefield of delegated authority and obeying God? Only God knows when the authority of man is overreaching or when I must submit.
Our response to government reveals our heart about God. And this is because God uses authority to expose our hidden heart attitudes.
