Merry Christmas!

heart in snow

Not everyone has the gift of family and friends to spend Christmas with, and some people have family that makes Jacob’s brood look kind and loving. In light of that, we’ve asked for a blessing to cover all of you, however your story is written. Here is what the Spirit gave.

You are seen and you are loved and you are not alone.

You have no one around, but you are not alone. You are loved beyond measure. May your days be filled with the presence and light of the Father, may you experience His perfect peace and joy, and may you receive the full measure of His LOVE for you so that you can return it and know the bliss of the only perfect companionship possible.

You enter the lions’ den, and the lions wear the faces of family. You are not alone. Where you step, Christ steps; where you sit, He sits. May you experience the wonder of Psalm 91, may you “abide in the shadow of the Almighty,” may you know such safety and peace and LOVE in the arms of the Father that you witness the miracle of loving your enemies firsthand.

You have family and friends, and it is a happy thing to see them. You, too, are not alone. May you know the joy of loving others as you yourself are loved by our heavenly Father – freely and without expectation. May you impart the contentment that comes with being seen – really seen – and being loved as only Christ can. May you know the blessing of cherishing the family God gave you without entanglement.

Above all, we join you in celebrating Immanuel, “God with us.” He’s alive, and because He lives, life is worth living. We thank you, Father, for the Priceless Pearl, Your Son, Jesus Christ!

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,
(and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,)
full of grace and truth.
John 1:14 KJV

For the days between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, we’ll be posting some truly amazing articles by Martha. These articles take a deeper look at both familiar and unfamiliar Christmas stories: Zacharias, Mary, Simeon and Anna. We’re blown away by the Spirit’s insights that were given to Martha, and we pray that you’re blessed by them as much as we have been.

God bless you all, and we’ll see you next year!

Gratitude that can’t be expressed enough — that Father would share His heart through each of you; always exalting the Son and being an encouragement to me to “press on.”
“The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.” NU 6:24-26
      In His love!
