Anxiety: The Final Answer

Print

The old nature will always fret.  From Adam and Eve until today, the old creation will always be in anxiety. I can count on it like clockwork.  I may not acknowledge it as anxiety or call it anxiety, but the SELF-LIFE is anxious. It is only the NEW creation in Christ that will dwell in Peace. If I’m attempting to conquer anxiety in the flesh, I will fail. Christ’s life, as my life, is the only life which remains free of anxiety. I know this chaps some people, because the old nature doesn’t like being that vulnerable to God. Plus the self-life will bargain, beg or steal to do it in self-strength.  But victory is only assured if I approach this issue, as every issue, in the New Man.

Put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.
Ephesians 4:22-24 ESV

My Answer to Anxiety

My Answer to Anxiety
So if you sweep the house clean of your old life, then you can have it filled with HIS life. Once I put off that old sinful, wicked, independent life, then I can trust in God’s Life to be my life.  I am but a shell, He is the filling.

This is the only final answer to anxiety, stress, hypertension, fear, and trepidation about life.  Christ must be your life.  My Creator must indwell me. Not imitation, not leading, not guidance, no – THE LIFE.  He doesn’t assist me or point me in the right direction. He lives my life.

The Answer to Anxiety

The Answer to Anxiety
Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand.
Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God. And when Christ, who is your life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all His glory. Colossians 3:1-4 NLT

Martha has written the most amazing devotional about this very thing.  It is called “Finding the New YOU!” I would like to refer you to it for the ins and outs of this process.  The New Life is not a theological ideology, nor an allegorical principle. It is Christ living my very life.  He is the life.  He is the only being in the entire universe that is anxiety-free.  His life is my only hope to dwell in peace.  He IS the Peace I long for and have spent a lifetime to achieve.

the distinction between christ helping or aiding us and christ as our life is an important distinction , one lives from separation the other from conscious union . I and my Father are one . Jesus came to cancel all distance and remove the veil and illusion of separation .

Matt 5:3,Blessed Are The Poor In Spirit, For Theirs Is The Kingdom Of Heaven. That Means Laying Down Pride And Personal Independence And Start To Rule And Reign. However, Who Do We Allow To Govern This “New” Kingdom? Is It The Name That Is Above All Names? Isaiah Tells Us That The Government Will Be Upon His Shoulders, I I Want The Prince Of Peace Ruling This Kingdom! Amen! BLess You John For sharing
