The Earth is the Lord’s and the Fulness Thereof

The Earth is the Lord’s and the Fulness Thereof

The earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
Psalms 24:1 KJV

Does someone come into my house and tell me what to do? Tell me where I am gonna hang my pictures? Where my bed will sit? How I’ll arrange my spices? No, NO THEY DON’T! And this world is God’s house and it will be run just how He likes it. My opinion, objection and resistance mean nothing! Want to follow me down this rabbit hole?

I Live in God’s World and the Fulness Thereof

I Live in God's World and the Fulness Thereof
I have a list of objections to this world, things I really wish weren’t as they are. Things that cause me great pain which I have little influence over or ability to change. These things are facts and realities, which seem immovable. Though I might writhe and twist in the flesh, they move not one iota. They simply are and are in God’s world as He has made it. It’s His affixed spice rack, His hung paintings, and His choice of tableware – because this is His world. I live here as a guest not an owner.

The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it – fulness thereof. Earlier today Martha read me chapters from her new book Altogether Forgiven. I both laughed hysterically and wept. The portions she read to me were about man’s utter and complete need for forgiveness and God’s beautiful solution. Here is just one line from the part she read to me.

“Jesus, the Last Adam, brought a final end to human wickedness. Our prison door is open now, and our Redeemer waits to give us…His Perfect Self.”

This quote was read at the end of an emotional rollercoaster where laughter and tears smooshed together in the most amazing nearness. All I could think of was this quandary we all face and this beautiful scripture that the earth is the Lord’s and everything in this world belongs to Him.

What about the Problems and the Fulness Thereof?

What about the Problems and the Fulness Thereof?
You will notice that people attempting to escape accountability through atheism usually shoot with, “What about all the pain and evil in the world?” We just don’t like how this world is structured. We think we can do it better. And the bottom line of this all states, “God, You’re a failure!” And I, like all humanity, believe I have the right to a comment card and suggestion box but many of my objections are unchangeable. Wish you could avoid the abuse, change the parents or family, feed the world, save the baby, eradicate the evil, change your history, make world peace…the list goes on and on in HIS WORLD.

What I have to come to over and over is that the Ways of God are always His perfection and perfect for me. I might not understand them or like them but they are just the same. Why didn’t He make man submissive rather than capable of such rebellion? Why did He require His Son to be brutally murdered on a cross to pay for that rebellion? Being all-powerful, why couldn’t He make it not so messy? Because this is God’s house and He does things according to His pleasure, not mine.

You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in You, all whose thoughts are fixed on You!
Isaiah 26:3 NLT

Ways of God and the Fulness Thereof

Worshipping the Ways of God is a huge work of the Spirit. Submitting to His complete sovereignty happens as we see Him and know He alone is God. God’s ways are always perfection and perfect for me, whether understood or not. We must cry out with all our being for He not me. To know His Ways is to know Him and to receive His Ways is to receive Him.

I live in His world; He is not my invited guest. No matter how my ego might deceive me, the earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof.

I AM God,
and there is no other;
I AM God,
and there is none like Me.

Isaiah 46:9

“…the Ways of God are always His perfection and perfect for me.”

There’s a struggle to believe, to trust Him and be kept in perfect peace, but it all starts from a YES! Bless you dear Tammy.

Hey John! Be careful when taking us down rabbit holes! I might be tempted to write a comment just as long as your post! 😉

Bring it on Sandy, always love hearing from you!

I guess what I’m trying to say is that I pray God keeps you on forgiveness for a while because I’m seeing a deepness that I hadn’t before…
I had been thinking about something similar to your post over the weekend and these last two days things keep popping in my head and I can sense that I’m seeing something…
My unforgiveness is just exactly how much I’m actually needing it in my own life, and it IS outright rebellion against God! Because Love sent Forgiveness to us!!! Who am I to stand in the way and shout No!
So it is actually possible for us to forget who we are, but God will not allow us to, eh?!
This really is no small issue! No wonder Martha’s book became so long!

Well if there is a greater depth in my posts it must be that I am in the anointing splash zone ? . The Altogether Forgiven book is perhaps Martha’s highest revelation so far. It is absolutely incredible. The warfare has been consistant against it but we are in the final stages. If you could stand with us Sandy for the Will of the Father and the Life of His Son to complete it I would be so grateful. We still need prayer on this. I can’t wait for you to get your copy! It is life changing for sure. Other than the Word, I have never read anything with more urgency and importance. It is a dynamic call lacking in the Church and much more than just mere forgiving. So exited! Love you Sandy!

          I will.
