God Indwelling, Part 2

Print

“God is with us” truly, intimately, indwelling.

Now He literally resides in the body of those who have received His life, the very Son of God. And He came to dwell in a Corporate Body, within us and among us—both!

God has a place now. We are His manger. We are the hidden cave where He is welcomed at last. We are the body and the Body of His residence, His place in this hostile world.

He covers the earth with His ‘babes.’ He is building “living stones” into a magnificent, triumphant temple that will One-day be revealed as His majestic dwelling, victorious not only over His enemy, but over the creation that mankind spoiled—and over spoiled humanity as well.

And the Father’s vast governmental order will increase until His glory fills the earth. And God will be visible to every living soul by the blazing white presence of the Son of God.

And Jehovah will bring His hidden Throne from heaven down to earth in a splendid golden form and He has come down to be with us by being IN us.

And God is here.

For I am convinced that neither death, nor life,
nor angels, nor principalities,
nor things present, nor things to come,
nor powers, nor height, nor depth,
nor any other created thing,
will be able to separate us from the love of God,
which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:38-39 NASB

They shall call His name IMMANUEL, which translated means, “God with us.”

The perfect verse to start the new year. Nothing “will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
That means not even my own circumstances or weariness or inability can separate me from God. And that means rest! This year, I pray we all rest in His love and trust in His promise. Thank you, Shulamite family!
