About John

Simply and succinctly I am looking for Him where He wants to reveal Himself. My attempt is not to hem Him in or dictate who He will be. I am on a quest like a child at an easter egg hunt to find Him everywhere He wishes to make Himself known. He has a voice and wishes to speak everyday! I have ears to listen.————— You can read my newest book "Where are You, God? We Seek the God Who Wants to be Found" Now available in Kindle. It is my earnest prayer that this booklet doesn’t leave you thinking of my experience but gives you deeper thought of your own.

Expectations are laws we set to control. When I expect from someone, I am determining what is needed to please ME.

God’s vision of my world is eternal and redemptive, while my vision and discernment is just a spiritual diagnosis not the ultimate reality.

His goal for my prayer life is connection with Him who is my Answer, not the answer in itself. Prayers don't equate His obligation to answer.

Our inalienable rights–life, liberty, and our pursuit of happiness–don't necessarily coincide with the declaration of dependence found in the beatitudes.

Do we ever think God is wasteful, extravagant, or excessive? If the answer is yes, then we might be judging things with human eyes!

When we expect God to move in a particular way, and that's not the way He moves, we can become disappointed in the ways of God…even offended.

When I am in pain I can become offended. It's easy to be offended and not actually do the work to discover the Lord in and through the pain.
