A Nightmare Chosen

A Nightmare Chosen

There are consequences. We choose them for ourselves. We create our nightmare then blame someone else and especially God!

Galatians 6:8a AMP
For he who sows to his own flesh (lower nature, sensuality) will from the flesh reap decay and ruin and destruction…

Jacob deceived and stole and he was – in far worse ways – deceived and robbed.

Saul wanted to murder David with his own spear and was – in the end – murdered by the sword of his own hand.

Matthew 7:1 AMPC
Do not judge and criticize and condemn others, so that you may not be judged and criticized and condemned yourselves.

For just as you judge and criticize and condemn others, you will be judged and criticized and condemned and in accordance with the measure you [use to] deal out to others, it will be dealt out again to you.

Sowing Our Own Nightmare

Sowing Our Own Nightmare
We know the rules. They are common knowledge and not obscure. We just believe we are exempt from the rule by being ‘right.’

Gossip and you will be the dirt of gossip.
Hate and you will be despised.
Steal and be robbed.

Don’t forgive and you will never know the peace of forgiveness. Lie and lose your capacity to see reality and know truth. Murder by evil or sword and you will die a thousand deaths. Kill a reputation and the contempt of the world will be your lot.

Your Bible is full of the proof of this: what you sow, that only will you reap. By story, in Proverbs, and in scriptures, the fixed law of sowing and reaping is pictured, stated and proven. We know, but to our eternal loss, we ignore our own repercussions—the nightmare we’ve chosen.

We don’t recognize the harvest of our own crop, even when the ill fruit comes home to our plate!

Jeremiah 12:13
They will sow wheat but reap thorns; they will wear themselves out but gain nothing.

Out of the Nightmare and into the Spirit

Out of the Nightmare and into the Spirit
To see by the eyes of the Spirit is not judging. Judging is when I name and label by the pompous reasoning of my mind.

Watch and listen. You will know a person by God’s assessment. A cold and cruel person is sometimes one who has God’s focus of mercy and understanding. A ‘nice’ person can be a wolf with teeth out to devour you. Seek God’s face.

We don’t know anything about anything. The Tree of Life is HIS knowledge and He shares it generously to His sheep who know dumb sheepness by being one.

2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV
For God has not given us a spirit of fear; but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

We have amazing access to the mind of Christ, that perfect, true and holy thought life. The Spirit of God brings the mind of God, full of Christ’s view and all power.

“My SHEEP hear My voice.”

Be a sheep – dumb, needy and childlike – and you will hear what God says about anything and everything.

What a clarity… I am quite awed the way you extended your arm on this.

But as for me and my house, I declare “no more eternal loss”, but I choose to ‘access the mind of Christ’ and stay in my sheep-ness. Yes and Amen for these beautiful truths you have shared with us today. May all who glean here be ever giving our LORD, the honor and credit that the writer always gives. Blessings on you for sharing and not burying this treasure.
      love and thanks SAM

Martha, your message not only provides a sobering challenge in the need to exercise extreme care in our judgments, but also offers great encouragement when unjust judgments have been made against us. God is a righteous and just God, and His law is irrevocable: whatever a man sows that he will also reap!

      Thank you, always thank you!

Inspired by the things you share.

No excuses or need to be right, after this clearly defined exposé on God’s truths. I didn’t even get halfway through when the Holy Spirit brought conviction through this word and had to call someone to ask forgiveness.
Reconciliation is a beautiful thing when two people can submit to Father’s heart and will, rather than self.
Thank you for this, Martha . . . too easily disregarded at times — a waste of time and only to one’s own hurt, not to mention Father’s.

This is a fountain of Wisdom from Above.
      Thank you so much!

I didn’t believe that I was a dumb sheep until last year’s conference. Thank you!
